Commercial Aquarium Projects
RedFin have designed and built exciting aquariums for a range of different commercial customers such as casinos, hotels, restaurants and shopping malls. A selection of RedFin’s custom aquarium projects are showcased below.
FRESHWATER PLANTED AQUARIUM

COMPLETED: 2024
BRIEF: We have worked on a freshwater planted aquarium measuring 5m by 2m by 4m tall, with a water volume of 28,000 liters, for an exclusive private client. And it has a custom built state-of-the-art filtration system.
Emirates Tower
LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
BRIEF: Design and installation of an acrylic cylinder aquarium for an office in Dubai. The aquarium has a custom built artificial coral reef with wide range of fish.
The Pet Shop, DIP
LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
BRIEF: Design and install coral theming, lighting and filtration for a large cylinder shaped aquarium at a pet super store in DIP area, Dubai
CURVED ACRYLIC REEF AQUARIUM
DIMENSIONS 1.75M (L) X 1M (W) X 1.5M (H)
LOCATION: HONG KONG
COMPLETED: 2020
BRIEF: Design, build and install a custom acrylic reef aquarium with a curved front panel. The aquarium is triangular shaped so it can tightly fit into the corner of the room. A custom designed saltwater filtration system was built to fit into the tight space below the tank.
RECORDING STUDIO AQUARIUM
LOCATION: England
BRIEF: Design and construct a large rectangular aquarium for saltwater fish in partnership with ViDERE Aquariums.
The aquarium is designed to have two acrylic front panels with a space in between. The aquarium was engineered to allow the a vacuum to be created between the two front panels protecting the fish from loud music played in the recording studio area.

CURVED ACRYLIC REEF AQUARIUM

HOSPITAL AQUARIUM FEATURE
LOCATION: Al Salam Hospital, Kuwait
BRIEF: Construction or three large acrylic aquariums. Design, Theming, LSS and other works completed by Aquamarine Group.

SHOPPING MALL CYLINDER AQUARIUMS
LOCATION: Shopping Mall, Xi’an, China
Brief: Custom design and build four acrylic cylinder shaped aquariums for a new shopping mall in China. Each aquarium contains a wide range of reef fish and a custom built artificial coral display.

RESTAURANT AQUARIUM FEATURES
LOCATION: Okku Restaurant, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Brief: RedFin worked in partnership with Red Sea Aquariums to deliver 3 large custom aquariums for a prominent restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The jellyfish can be viewed from both sides of the aquariums and the largest two tanks have viewing windows measuring 1.4 meters high by 2 meters wide.
A custom built lighting system, filtration system and aluminium stand was provided with each aquarium.

CASINO AQUARIUM FEATURE
Location: Saipan
Brief: Design, build, ship and install two 5 meter wide curved acrylic aquariums designed to house live reef species.
Status: Built and shipped. Awaiting installation
NIGHTCLUB JELLYFISH AQUARIUM FEATURE
Location: Reign Nightclub, London
Brief: Design and build a large jellyfish aquarium for a VIP area of one of London’s most prominent nightclubs. RedFin worked in partnership on this project with Charterhouse Aquatics. Charterhouse installed and stocked the aquarium and built the life support system.

CASINO ARTIFICIAL REEF AQUARIUM
Location: Macau Casino
Brief: Design, build and install a 3.2 meter artificial reef aquarium for a casino in Macau.
